  SERVICE DESCRIPTION:

  Trouble shoot Vaisala weather station outage and baler media swap

  UPON ARRIVAL:  

  Station in good condition, no signs of bear damage.

  The met station was not running. 

  ACTIONS TAKEN: 

  Verified the station configuration.  Tested a new cable and a new Vaisala WXT-536.  Also tested the old cable that showed signs of corrosion.  The old cable was still functioning, but was swapped anyway due to the visual corrosion.

  Vaisala WXT536 swapped in for WXT520, cable changed. Environmental processor firmware was already upgraded to 1.10.

  Baler media swap.

  Soil temperature sensor batteries changed and data downloaded.
